At the Club since Under-13s, Marçal broke through into the First Team during our Sky Bet Championship winning campaign of 2023/24, debuting in the division during the opening away fixture of the season at Huddersfield Town, before scoring his first senior goal on his home debut at King Power Stadium, to help defeat Cardiff City.

 

Playing a major role in getting to the Quarter-Finals of the FA Cup that season, starting three times, his senior debut also came in the competition two years prior, coming off the bench during the third round victory over Watford on Filbert Way in January 2022.

 

The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Eerste Divisie club De Graafschap, finishing sixth in the Dutch second tier. The tricky winger, a former Portugal Under-20s international, made 12 league appearance during that injury-disrupted campaign, finding the net on one occasion and providing one assist.
