An England Under-17s international, with eight caps and a goal to his name, Louis made a big impact in the Development Squad across 2024/25, despite being just 16 years of age during that season.
Emerging through the Under-18s a year prior, the campaign finished with silverware in the form of the U16s Premier League Cup, beating Manchester City in the final at King Power Stadium.
His performances led to stepping up into the Under-21s, quickly earning plaudits for displays in competitions such as the Premier League Cup, the EFL Trophy and the FA Youth Cup, while two goals in 10 Premier League 2 appearances was another sign of his promise.
Also involved in First Team training sessions, the youngster claimed the prestigious Academy Player of the Season award at the end of 2024/25, before scoring in his first senior game – a pre-season bout with Peterborough United.
Named in a First Team squad in a competitive fixture for the first time against Sheffield Wednesday on the opening day of the 2025/26 season, Louis has been handed the no.25 shirt.
