Sarah Mayling joins us on loan for the remainder of the 2025/26 Barclays Women’s Super League campaign, from fellow top flight side, Aston Villa. Sarah arrives in Leicestershire with over 200 career appearances and strengthens our defensive unit ahead of the second half of the 2025/26 season. Born in Sutton Coldfield, the right-back began her senior career with hometown club Villa in 2017 and first broke into their first-team aged 17, before linking up with Birmingham City in the WSL. A productive four-year spell with the Blues followed, where she earned a regular place in the starting XI, before a return to Villa in 2021, where she continued to earn regular game-time in the top flight.
